Informed Choice, the award-winning firm of Chartered Financial Planners, is offering an ‘open door’ initiative to other financial advisers in the run up to the implementation of RDR changes.
Owners of IFA businesses are being invited to meet with Informed Choice at their offices in Cranleigh, Surrey.
At the meeting, Informed Choice agrees to share any and every aspect of the way they do business, from their client proposition, through to pricing of services and use of Social Media as a marketing tool.
Informed Choice chief executive Nick Bamford said:
“As a result of our stance in favour of the RDR we have received some unfair criticism that we have some kind of vested interest in the reduction in the number of IFAs post RDR and even that we have a “hidden agenda”. This is simply not the case. We are happy to share what we have done with our business with any of our peers and this is at no cost to them, other than time and the cost of getting here.
“We have already met with a number of friends in the IFA sector and are happy to share with a lot more. This may or may not help them but this offer comes with no strings attached. No one has a monopoly on success in the intermediary sector. Sharing has always been high on our list of the things we do.
“We recognise that many of our peers do not agree with us but that doesn’t mean we can’t help each other. We don’t have all the solutions but we may have some”
Informed Choice has scheduled five days for these meetings between November and March. More days will be scheduled if there is sufficient demand.
Any IFA business owners who would like to meet with Informed Choice should, in the first instance, call Lizanne on 01483 274566 or email lizanne@icl-ifa.co.uk to arrange a meeting.
