New research by Quality Solicitors found that 89% of people going through divorce proceedings are worried about the general direction of their life; something they have dubbed the ‘divoid’.
It is unsurprising to hear this concern.

5. Re-skill by enrolling yourself on a course
6. Start exercising
7. Restart lost friendships
8. Don’t hibernate
9. Maintain a positive relationship with your ex
10. Don’t jump into a new relationship too fast
11. Don’t think you’re the only one
12. Discover a new you
13. Be kind to yourself
14. Go on holiday with friends or family
What works for each of us is clearly different, and some of the tips above might feel entirely inappropriate given the individual circumstances of your own divorce.
