This Saturday saw the Surrey stage of the Tour of Britain, with the cyclists and teams coming through Cranleigh.
The race entered Cranleigh from Ewhurst, with a sprint stage along the Ewhurst Road before the cyclists came past our offices in the High Street and turned along the Common before heading up Barhatch Lane for a King of the Mountains stage to the top of Winterfold.
We watched the race as it came along the High Street, past Sundial House where Informed Choice is based, and enjoyed the spectacle of police motorbikes attempting to stop traffic before the race came though.
