Informed Choice is delighted to win at the Toast of Surrey Business Awards 2016.
We won the category for Companies with a turnover of up to £1m, the most hotly contested category at the awards with the greatest number of entries.
The awards were announced yesterday evening at a lavish black-tie event held at the HG Wells Centre in Woking.
In addition to celebrating the success of the winners on the night, guests were also there to recognise the thriving Surrey economy in general.
Commenting on the awards, Surrey Advertiser editor-in-chief Marnie Wilson said:
The calibre of businesses nominated this year has been really heartening – firms that in some cases are taking on the world and showing that Surrey really is the place to do business.
I am always impressed by the commitment, innovation and courage shown.
Here is the moment captured on video when Marnie revealed Informed Choice had won the prize:
This was the eighth year for the Toast of Surrey Business Awards and the first occasion on which Informed Choice has been selected as a finalist.
The awards are designed to recognise Surrey’s reputation as the engine room that drives the nation’s economy.
Our congratulations go to the runners up in our category – Spiritmen Ltd, Future Proof and Guildford Shakespeare Company.
We were also delighted that another Cranleigh business, Ruby & Kind, won in their category for Young Business of the Year.
Ruby & Kind have been open in Cranleigh High Street for around six months and we are pleased to have supported them from day one, as they bring their local produce farm shop to the village.
Our thanks to the Surrey Advertiser and Trinity Mirror Southern for hosting these awards, to all of the sponsors and, most importantly, to our clients and friends who have supported us since our formation in 1994.
