We look forward to welcoming the final stage of the Tour of Britain when it passes through Cranleigh (the home of Informed Choice) on Sunday afternoon.
Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish will be joined by 120 other stars of cycling as they make their way along over 90 miles of Surrey roads, before finishing the whole race series in Guildford.
As a number of the Informed Choice team are avid fans of cycling, we will be finding prime positions to watch the race pass through Cranleigh.
The route for this final stage takes riders along the Horsham Road before turning right at the Obelisk and along the Ewhurst Road.
The race then heads up Barhatch Road to climb to the top of Winterfold (along one of my ‘favourite’ running routes), turns left at the top along Greensand Lane and then left again to come down Alderbrook Road back into Cranleigh via Rowly.
We understand that the race then passes Cranleigh Common and turns right along Elmbridge Road to head out to Dunsfold.
Our financial planning director Andrew Neligan is particularly excited as the route comes directly past his house in Shalford twice during the day!
We wish all of the teams and spectators the very best for what should be a thrilling final stage to the Tour of Britain as it flies through Cranleigh, the largest village in England.
