Informed Choice is pleased to be main sponsor for a major BHS TREC event which takes place in Shamley Green at the end of this month.
The two-day event involves orienteering on horseback over the Surrey Hills for 35km, at speed with grids and bearings tests thrown in, control of horses paces and cross country.
Over 100 competitors are taking part including the Team GB riders who will be competing at the European Championships in the Autumn.
The event at Kilnhanger Stables follows a successful Mini TREC on Easter Sunday.
The main event on Saturday 31st May and Sunday 1st June 2014 will be attended by competitors at the highest level, coming from as far as Devon, Wales, Scotland and Ireland to compete.
There will also be a camera crew attending from Horse & Country TV.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Informed Choice managing director Martin Bamford said:
“BHS TREC is a fantastic event designed to demonstrate the skills and confidence a horse and rider need while out hacking.
“Kilnhanger is a stunning location in the Surrey Hills for this high-profile event, with its beautiful bluebell woods and access to an extensive network of bridleways.
“We wish all of the competitors a safe and enjoyable weekend of riding, and look forward to awarding rosettes to all of the winners.”
