Imagine that you are the Station Manager at Guildford Railway Station today.
Snow is disrupting everything.
All of the ticket machines are “out of service” and there are at least 50 people waiting in line to buy tickets. Three out of the six open ticket booths are operating.
Do you?
A – open a further ticket booth or two?
B – Get a man with a mobile ticket machine onto the concourse?
or
C – close one of the ticket boots?
If you answered C you are qualified to do the job!
You couldn’t make it up!!
