Global stockmarkets rose sharply today following better than expected US jobs data, and despite lower UK economic forecasts for 2012 and 2013 from National Institute for Economic and Social Research.
Over a year the FTSE 100 has risen from 5,584.50, a rise of 202.78 points or +3.63%.
