Chartered Financial Planner Martin Bamford was quoted in this article in The Sunday Times, looking at defensive sectors for investors following the recession.
Looking at the technology sector, which has always performed well historically following recessions, Martin urges caution this time:
“If they find it hard to get hold of the cash they need to grow, that could hold them back,” he said. “I would say this sector should be regarded as quite adventurous and risky.”

Martin was also quoted in the Independent on Sunday today, in their Wealth Check feature. The Wealth Check looks at 21 year old PR executive Lauren Prince-Wright who wants to build up a deposit to buy her first property in London.
