Listen to the Informed Choice Podcast: Episode One
Martin described his qualifications and role at Informed Choice, as well as his rather busy home life; a primary school teacher for a fiancée, three young children, a dog, a cat and a horse!
We looked at the three main things to consider for investment risk – how much risk you are willing to take (your attitude towards investment risk), how much risk you are able to take (your capacity for risk or capacity for loss) and how much risk you need to take with your money to achieve your financial goals.
Here’s the link to the newspaper article Martin mentioned from September 2005 announcing the original Informed Choice Podcast; the first podcast from an Independent Financial Adviser which came to life nearly a decade ago!
Within the podcast, Martin offer a free initial risk assessment report to anyone who listened to the show.
Just email martin@icfp.co.uk with the subject line Podcast Risk Profile and we’ll send you our risk profile questionnaire. No charge, no obligation, just leave a review for us on iTunes if you find it useful.
