This week saw the publication of the Professional Adviser Awards 2011 supplement, which included comments from the judges on the winners of each of the awards.
Informed Choice was awarded Best IFA Website at these awards in January and here is what one of the judges for this category, Mark Loosmore from IT consultancy AT8, had to say:
“The Informed Choice website, built by code:potato, stands out for both its design and content. The site is easy to navigate and clearly branded but above all the information is relevant and kept updated.
“As soon as there is financial news on the wires, Informed Choice publishes a response and comment.”
Commenting on the award win, Informed Choice executive director Nick Bamford said:
“We have put a lot of effort into making an easy-to-use website that is constantly refreshed and it’s being well received by people as it caters to specific areas.
“You don’t have to pay designers and contributors thousands of pounds to build a good website. Everything on the website is aimed at the kind of customers we want to attract.”
