Informed Choice has won Best IFA Website at the Professional Adviser Awards 2011.
Chartered Financial Planner Andrew Neligan collected the trophy on behalf of Informed Choice at the award ceremony this evening which took place at The Hilton on Park Lane in London.
The judges said that we were victorious for a number of reasons, including our many microsites, which we have set up as simple educational guides for our existing and future customers.
“Informed Choice’s entry really impressed the judges with its clean look and feel, easy navigation and the breadth of information featured.”
We launched the current version of our website at the end of November 2009, following a major overhaul of our existing website and a professional design by the team at [codepotato].
Our new website was created following feedback from our clients and professional connections, to construct a site worthy of a leading firm of Chartered Financial Planners.
The website was created using the WordPress content management system, which enables us to have an integrated blog which is updated on a daily basis and displayed prominently on the home page.
Since launch on 24th November 2009, we have posted over 500 blog entries, each covering topical financial planning and investment subjects.
The primary purpose of our website is to keep our clients well informed and encourage debate. Each blog post is open to comments and we ensure that we always respond to any comments left immediately. Our website is fully integrated with the full range of Social Media.
Each blog post contains a button to share the blog with connections on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, or email and print the content. Our blogs are automatically posted to our Twitter account (@informedchoice) where we now have 800 followers.
Our congratulations go to the other IFA firms who reached shortlist stage for this award at the Professional Adviser Awards 2011.
