This morning we welcomed Nicola Light to the office, along with her bag of camera gear.
Nicola is an award-winning family photographer based in Cranleigh and was visiting to take new photos of the entire team for our website, social media profiles and press photos.
We selected Nicola to take our new photos for a number of reasons.
As a local business, we are always keen to support other local businesses. Nicola is based only a mile from the office in Cranleigh; it doesn’t get much more local than that!
We had some experience of the quality of Nicola’s work as she recently took photos of Andrew’s new arrival, Edward. You can see one of those photos here.
Choosing a family photographer – rather than a corporate photographer who specialises in ‘headshots’ – was a conscious decision as it better reflects our family values as a business.
We also wanted something a bit different from every other Financial Planner out there.
Nicola takes photos using natural light rather than artificial studio lights, and her results are quite stunning.
