The Gold Standard Awards 2010 are being held this Wednesday in London.
This will be the eighth year of these awards which are considered to be the toughest in the financial services profession.
The Awards take into account financial strength and assess areas such as trust, fair value, service as well as capability to conduct business.
They are designed to identify companies that not only have strong structures and procedures in place, but are going above and beyond standard business practices to restore faith in the financial services sector generally and offer clients the best possible products and services.
Informed Choice is a finalist in the Gold Standard for Independent Financial Advice category at these awards. This is an award we have won in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
We first entered the Gold Standard Awards in 2005, and were Commended. Last year, we were Highly Commended for our entry for the Gold Standard for Independent Financial Advice.
We have high hopes this year, with our entry running to over 100 pages including supporting evidence of our strengths in each of the areas being assessed.
Informed Choice chief executive Nick Bamford will be travelling to the House of Commons on Wednesday afternoon for the award ceremony along with Andrew Neligan, Ian Lovelace and Lizanne Doyle from Informed Choice.
We will bring you more news on the day. Watch this space!
