As the days get shorter and nights draw in, it is great to see Cranleigh lit up with Christmas lights on 23rd November 2013.
This year looks set to be a fantastic Cranleigh Christmas Lights event, with a day and evening packed full of all things Christmassy.
Cranleigh Events co-ordinator Gemma Radford has described it as “A Christmas Extravaganza; a day where the community of Cranleigh and the surrounding areas can come to our wonderful village and have a thoroughly entertaining experience”.
This is Gemma’s third event for the village, but her first Christmas Lights.
Cranleigh High Street will offer an Italian market and craft fair, with the opportunity for the kids to have their photo taken with Minnie and Mickey Mouse, enjoy a ride or two or perhaps have their face painted before visiting Father Christmas in his grotto.
There will be interactive displays in the High Street and a winter BBQ at the Richard Onslow, with carol singing around the tree under the gentle trickle of (guaranteed) snow.
Visitors can then sit back with a beer, mulled wine or hot chocolate and watch the stunning array of performances before the big count down and a special guest arrives and Cranleigh lights up in front of your eyes.
We look forward to a day and evening of fun in Cranleigh on 23rd November and hope to see you there.
