Informed Choice managing director Martin Bamford was a guest presenter on a webinar for the marketing consultants CProject this evening, talking about how to build your business voice.
Martin spent 45 minutes describing how we communicate with clients, professional connections, other intermediaries and journalists here at Informed Choice.
His presentation explained that, in a very competitive marketplace, it is important to stand out and differentiate yourself from the competition. We need to address multiple audience types on a regular basis, so we tailor our message accordingly.
Martin finished the presentation by talking through several examples of the communication channels we use at Informed Choice; Twitter, Facebook, our weekly email newsletter, our website/blog, our quarterly client newsletter, the books we have written and webcasts.
During the webinar, several polls were held to determine the existing use of different communication channels by the IFA audience taking part. It was interesting to note that press and PR was the least popular option for existing use of communications, although after hearing about Martin describe the opportunities we are sure this will change.
