The 65th Cranleigh Show took place at the Showground on Sunday and we were pleased to sponsor the event for the first time.
There was a big turnout for the always popular Cranleigh Show, with only a tiny amount of rain to dampen spirits.
Highlights of the day included camel racing, motorcycle stunt displays and terrier racing.
Cranleigh has a strong farming community and the annual Cranleigh Show always attracts a large number of livestock entries.
The Cranleigh and South Eastern Agricultural Society, which organises the event, reported that entries were up again this year as the farming community continues to recover from the foot and mouth crisis which left the Show with no livestock four years ago.
Our congratulations go to all of the livestock class winners and in particular to Mr and Mrs P W Hunt and Saltaire Sophie, winners of the dry cow in calf category we sponsored on Sunday.
