There is a risk that some investors in Keydata will become victims of fraud a second time after the Keydata Victims Group warns bogus callers are targeting these investors.
The Group is warning Keydata investors not to disclose their personal or bank details after a number of them have received calls claiming to come from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
Investors should never provide bank details over the phone.
The FSCS provides confirmation of compensation by letter, along with a personal cheque. As a result, they would never ask for bank details to make a bank transfer.
If any investors have received suspicious calls claiming to come from the FSCS, they should report these to the police.
