It’s an exciting time for our business, with the decision to open a new Informed Choice Petersfield office next month.
The new office location opening is part of our plans to expand the Informed Choice brand into Hampshire.
Holders Barn forms part of a prestigious new mixed development in Station Road, Petersfield. We signed a lease on the office yesterday, ahead of a grand opening last night with guest of honour Hilary Ayer, Mayor of Petersfield.
Our financial planning director, Shelley McCarthy, lives in Petersfield and will become head of the new Informed Choice Petersfield office.
Shelley will be working in the Informed Choice Petersfield office alongside two other Financial Planners, with our head office in Cranleigh remaining the location for our team of Financial Planners with support from Paraplanners and the administration team.
The decision to open a second office location comes during a period of rising demand for financial planning services at our 24-year old business.
Total fee revenue at Informed Choice was up 10.2% in the latest company year ending 31st July. During the same period, our net profit rose by 32%.

Petersfield is a fantastic location for an expansion of our independent financial planning services and we are fortunate to have secured an office suite at Holders Barn. We already have a good relationship with clients and professional connections in Hampshire, and look forward to building more relationships here over the coming years.
It’s a really exciting time for the financial planning profession and for Informed Choice specifically. Petersfield is underserved by financial planners at the moment and we look forward to becoming well known in the town by replicating our success in Cranleigh.
We get the keys to Holders Barn at the start of October and it is expected to take a couple of weeks to fit out the office before we officially open there for business.
Shelley will be hosting a drinks reception in Petersfield in due course, to celebrate the opening of this new office.
