Money Marketing published their awards supplement this week, containing comments from the judges who awarded Informed Choice the IFA of the Year title.
Here is what they had to say:
Informed Choice won the coveted title of IFA of the Year.
Judges crowned the firm, led by father and son duo Nick and Martin Bamford, IFA of the Year after being impressed by its strong client focus and consistent advice process.
Judges said Informed Choice “continues to catch the eye”. They praised the IFAs good use of IT, robust internal processes and good client education.
The firm’s four-step advice process – engage, advise, implement and review – was the winning solution, according to the panel.
Informed Choice offers financial advice on all aspects of retirement planning, investments, protection, trustee investments, care fees planning and pensions and divorce.
Every week, the IFA publishes a free personal finance email newsletter for its 1,500 subscribers. It also offers clients free guides on all aspects of financial planning.
Chief executive Nick Bamford and managing director Martin Bamford regularly feature in the trade press, discussing, questioning and supporting developments in the IFA sector.
