Local clients and professional connections might have noticed some work being carried out in front of Sundial House over the past week.
Anyone calling the office might have heard the sound of cement mixers, pneumatic drills or tea orders in the background.
After years of trying to maintain the original stone work, we decided to replace it with something a little more modern and robust.
So local firm Geoff Negus Landscapes have been working hard to lay new paving.
We can heartily recommend Geoff and his team for any landscaping requirements you might have.
Sundial House was originally a private house with a short-lived arts and crafts shop attached. This shop was opened at the time of the great depression in the 1920s and the owner was reported to have sat in the shop for a fortnight without a single customer. As a result, they decided to close the shop.
The house and shop were subsequently let to other local people, before Sundial House became an office.
Sundial House was designated a Building of Local Merit last year and we really enjoy working from such a lovely building with so much character.
