Here at Informed Choice, personal fitness is as high on our agenda as personal finance.
Several members of the team are keen athletes and we sponsor the annual Jigsaw 5k at Dunsfold Park.
Details of the 2013 event will be released very soon.
This weekend sees two of our directors take on sporting challenges.
Informed Choice financial planning director Andrew Neligan is tackling the Windsor Triathlon this Sunday.
This Olympic distance triathlon will see Andrew taking on a 1.5km swim, 42km bike and 10km run.
Andrew is no stranger to triathlons, completing the challenging Helvellyn Triathlon last year in an impressive five hours and three minutes.
The Windsor Triathlon is part of his preparations to take on his first middle distance triathlon this July in the Surrey Hills.
This consists of a 1.9km swim, 80km cycle and then a half marathon distance run.
Also this weekend, Informed Choice managing director Martin Bamford is returning to competitive running after completing the London Marathon in April.
He has entered The Hurt; a 12km trail race climbing through the picturesque alpines of the Greensand Ridge of The Surrey Hills, an area known locally as “Little Switzerland”.
Martin is currently preparing for his first trail marathon this October, with a third marathon already booked for next April and then plans to complete his first ultra distance marathon, the North Downs Way 50, next May.
